"I am not a bed rest kind of person"
That's what I kept saying! So here is to updating everyone on myself and Lukas since we are confined to the hospital bed a St. Lukes.
On Christmas Day I went to the hospital and we thought I just had an infection. When I went back for my check up on Tuesday I was in pre term labor. Having contractions every 3-20 minutes. Little Lukas is trying to be like his mom and plan his own schedule but we have to remind him that it is up to God not him. My water has not broken and they have kept demoted me from High Risk Labor and Delivery and given me my own suite in the lower risk section of Labor and Delivery at St. Lukes. I get to wear my own clothes now and walk around just a little bit.
I am able to work from my lap top for the studio and SOOOO relieved that I have such a great staff in place at the studio to keep things going. Along with Thaddeus and my mom. So girls you must not give " Mr. Kristin" a hard time :) no more breaking his gingerbread houses!
Thaddeus has stayed every night here at the St. Lukes Suite despite the fact that we just moved into our new house last week. My parents have been up here everyday and I got a bed rest pedicure and manicure from my sister today, thank Goodness! And of course lot's of other family has been up here. And just so everyone know I am listed as Kristina Thomas still. Ladies please change your drivers licensee after getting married before having a baby. Hopefully he will cook in my tummy for the next 4 weeks so I can go home and do all the things that needed to be done before he got here.
I SO MISS my studio girls and can't wait to get my daily reports from your teachers (and you know they will) I am diligently working on the design of our competition t-shirt and excited about getting those to yall just in time for Jump!
Thanks so much for the prayer's they are working and going a long way. He has made it through the H1N1 flu, and having a low lying Placenta. He nothing short of a miracle baby for me and Thaddeus and we can and can't wait to hold him in our arms (in about 4 weeks or longer:) )
